GOD
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His substitutionary atoning death through his shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
There is one body and one Spirit - just as you were called to one hope at your calling - one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above and through all and in all.
Ephesians 4:4-6, CSB
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. All things were created through him, and apart from him not one thing was created that has been created.
John 1:1-3, CSB
No one has ever seen God. The one and only Son, who is himself God and is at the Father's side - he has revealed him.
John 1:18, CSB
For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that whoever believes in him, will not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16, CSB
CONDITION OF MAN
We believe that man was created by God and in His own image but fell into sin, and is now lost; this is true of all men, and except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. Salvation is by grace through faith in Christ who bore our sins in His own body on the cross. It is only by grace through faith in Christ Jesus that we are reconciled to God.
So God created man in his own image; he created him in the image of God; he created them male and female.
Genesis 1:27, CSB
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 3:23, CSB
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come! Everything is from God, who has reconciled himself through Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation. That is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and he has committed the message of reconciliation to us.
2 Corinthians 5:17-19, CSB
THE BIBLE
We believe that God has spoken in the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, through the words of human authors, inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is through the Scriptures that God has chosen to reveal Himself and His will for salvation through Christ Jesus to us. We believe the Bible to be infallible, authoritative, and completely trustworthy. Therefore, it is to be believed in all that it teaches, obeyed in all that it requires, and trusted in all that it promises.
All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16-17, CSB
For the word of God is living and effective and sharper than any double-edged sword, penetrating as far as the separation of soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It is able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12, CSB
SALVATION AND RESPONSE
We believe that upon receiving salvation through Christ Jesus, it is our mission to share the Good News with the lost. We believe that through the power of the Holy Spirit that indwells the heart of the believer, we are enabled to live out the Great Commission and to love God and one another as Jesus called us. By the same power of the Holy Spirit, we are able to be sanctified and respond in obedience to the Word of God.
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to help you and be with you forever. He is the Spirit of truth. The world is unable to receive him because it doesn't see him or know him. But you do know him, because he remains with you and will be in you.
John 14:16-17, CSB
His divine power has given us everything required for life and godliness through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
2 Peter 1:3, CSB
He said to him, "Love the Lord your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and most important command. The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself."
Matthew 22:37-39, CSB
